SHARE Equipment / Missing Discs Swap

We've put together an online, easily editable spreadsheet for libraries to use to list extra equipment and sets of music discs / television series where they have lost one or more discs. Those spreadsheets are now online and can be accessed using the following URLs:

SHARE Brief Cataloging Process

Introduction

This guide describes the new SHARE Brief Cataloging Process that can be used when records are not immediately found in SkyRiver using the client or Smartport. If you're new to this process, we highly recommend that you do the following:

SHARE Cataloging 300 Field Cheat Sheet

On 8.22.11, the SHARE Cataloging Committee approved a set of examples for common variable entry MARC fields. Feel free to use this cheat sheet at your library to help save time as you catalog. Please note that these are only suggestions. As always, use catalogers judgement when editing bibliographic records. This guide is also available for download in PDF format (see below).
